Bosnia and Hercegovina tour (small country tour)
Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Day 2: Sarajevo city tour
- After breakfast in the hotel we start the city tour of Sarajevo. Visit Old Town – Bascarsija (GaziHusrev-bey mosque, bazaar, City Hall, Inat house), also visiting Festina Lente and Latin bridge.
Day 3: Sarajevo mountains & VreloBosne
- After breakfast, we are going to explore the Olympic mountainsBjelasnica&Igman through the walk. Enjoy the fresh air. Bjelasnica “Babin do” is the place where you can find many hotels and restaurants for coffee or tea, or just to relax. On the Igmanmountainwe visit the war mosque, or as it is called, Igman’s beauty - an authentic cultural monument built during the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The next point of the tour would be Sarajevo’s green heaven. Once you arrive at the Ilidza area, you will be taken to the source of the river Bosnia on a horse carriage.
Day 4: Sarajevo – Travnik – Jajce – Bihac
- For over 150 years, the vizier – the Ottoman Sultan’s representative in Bosnia had his headquarters in this town. It was the capital city of Bosnia from 1697 to 1850. Visiting Fortress of Travnik, the Coloured Mosque, and Elci Ibrahim Pasha’s Madrasah. Proceeding to Jajce - famous for its beautiful waterfalls. We also visit watermills near Jajce. To close the day, we go to Bihac overnight.
Day 5: Bihac city tour & Una national park
- After breakfast, we visit Una national park. Along with the valley of river Una, the most important part of National Park Una, you can find cultural monuments, fortresses, towers, and towns that present additional value to the National Park. Afterward, we are going to visit Japod`s island. The Japanese islands are a tourist-archaeological complex and a site that aims to get everyone who passes through Bihac to come and enjoy its natural beauties.
Day 6: Martin Brod & Strbackibuk
- Martin Brod, a place near Bihac, has one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bosnia, long about 54 meters. This natural waterfall is the true gem of the Una river that attracts a large number of visitors. Also, we will visit „Štrbački buk“ - the highest waterfall in National Park. Afterward, we go back to Sarajevo.
Day 7: Bihac – Mostar
- After breakfast, we go to the Herzegovina region. Visiting Jablanica and proceeding to Mostar overnight.
Day 8: Herzegovina tour
- Visit Mostar city and its Old town. Discover Kujundžiluk together with Old Bridge and Mehmed Koski-pasha mosque. Afterward, we take a trip to Blagaj. Blagaj is a village situated at the spring of the Buna river (probably the largest karst spring in Europe) and a historical Dervish house – Tekija. The next place to visit is Počitelj. Počitelj Castle is a medieval citadel, a silo-shaped fort overlooking the village from the top of the hill. After that, we go to Kravice waterfall - a beautiful oasis of peace located in southern Herzegovina. It is the most fascinating naturalistic feature of the Herzegovinian region.
Day 9: Mostar – Sarajevo (visit Trebevic)
- We enjoy breakfast after which we are going to Sarajevo. In Sarajevo, we visit the small mountain Trebevic and enjoy the fresh air. The first amusement park in Bosnia and Herzegovina with an alpine roller coaster, the main attraction of the amusement park, is located in Trebevic. We also visit SCC (Sarajevo City Center), the biggest shopping mall in the country.
Day 10: Transfer to the airport.
